Despite being OOP for years, the set I received was shrink-wrapped and the contents in mint condition. The miniatures are great value for money. The booklets are good for the artwork even if you don't use the rules. As I understand it the moulds for the figures have been destroyed, so if you want the figures you should make a move soon. I'm glad I did.

Warzone is a great game, the rules are easy to learn & the rulebook explains all of the dynamics in easy to understand wording & concise diagrams. The box set offers a fantastic value, 80 miniatures, rulebook as well as background books, templates,counters & dice. No other miniature wargame offers this much @ the price offered by Prince August. I only wish I had gotten the game sooner
For a time in the 1990's, Warzone/Mutant Chronicles was the leading competitor to Games Workshop's Warhammer 40K. This alternate Warzone universe spawned some excellent board games, one of them, Blood Berets, available here and this classic table top miniatures wargame. There is a lot in the Warzone box. The eighty Imperial and Bauhaus troopers are excellent sci-fi miniatures with a steampunk/WWI vibe. You get three paperbound books - the rules, a background book detailing the world of Warzone, and an army guide. Also included are dice and sheets of markers and templates. The Warzone universe is evocative and engaging, an excellent setting for a miniatures wargame. The game itself is a lot of fun, striking a good balance between being accessible and enjoyably playable, while still offering the sort of "chrome" that many gamers desire. With eighty miniatures and everything else, this introductory box set is a fantastic bargain. It offers gamers an inexpensive entry-point into Warzone and the wider world of miniatures wargaming.
My 7 year old son was interested in dabbling with painting miniatures and maybe playing a simple war game, I didn't want to make the massive outlay required to make a decent 40K army, and besides the rules are probably beyond him. Instead I bought this great value set of 80 miniatures. The minis are well sculpted with a limited number of poses, and lend themselves well to any WWI/SciFi setting. They do have some obtrusive mould lines, but these can be trimmed if needed and are fine for our purposes. The hard plastic is not particularly suited to modding but you could make it work with the right cutting equipment. We are using them to play a rules-lite homespun version of bolt action and have loads of models left to build.
Great price, great condition. The minis are top notch and buying from the site was nice and easy. Awesome as proxies for plenty of current games as well, although the box has all the rules you need to play the Warzone game.

I have recently got back into Warzone through WZR but realised I needed a copy of the game that initially sparked my interest. What you are getting is simply the best value game on the market. The books, miniatures and templates are amazing. With the re vamp of the game system under way now is the time to bag a classic game.
