Leprechauns are fairy folk that are part of many fun tales in Ireland. Commonly seen as small as a child, often dressed as an old fashioned shoemaker, with a love of gold and rainbows, capable of granting wishes if captured and pranksters by nature. This leprechaun is antique finished by local Irish artists in Cork, Ireland. This miniature measures 55mm in height from base to top of tricorn hat.

Antique finishing technique involves applying a mix of black gloss paint with thinners to the metal figure, then after 5 to 10 minutes, wipe off the excess with a clean dampened cloth (with thinners) and then allow to dry and polish after 24 hours.

This product is not suitable for children under the age of 14.

    Last summer I stumbled upon the Toy Soldier Factory on a life-long anticipated trip to Ireland. I found this depiction of the classic Irish souvenir: a leprechaun looking more like the original imp than the U.S. "Disney" version. Easy to take home in the suitcase and the price was right. When I got home, I realized that I couldn't give him up, so I found the company online and ordered 4 more. I told them that, since they would be gifts, would they please enclose some information about the company and about leprechauns. Not only did they include the information, but they bubble wrapped each one in its own tiny box! I couldn't be happier with the company or with my purchase!
