Standard metal (65% Lead / 2% Antimony / 33% Tin) is the cheapest metal available. We recommend that you vent the moulds if you use Standard Metal.
Standard metal melts at 210°C (410°F). Ingot length is approximately 122 mm. Width is approximately 25mm.
Cast at 320-340°C.

No problems. Works as advertised. Only metal I use.
This metal is excellent for this sort of casting with zero wastage. It melts easily and evenly and pours with no problems. I was able to get a perfect casting from the first pour into a cold mold. The detail was very good and the single bar was more than enough to cast the three items I required.
