These are 3 rubber moulds used to cast an English Knight & Horse. Assembly is required. You can use solder or glue. No glue is included.
The Knight, wearing a pig-faced helmet, fighting on foot. These are the elite of the Medieval soldiers and although they were often mounted as cavalry, they fought in melee as well. Knights were often wealthy lords, or relatives of lords, who trained for years to be excellent fighters. If they were captured in battle they were often spared from torture and kept in reasonable comfort and later ransomed back to their families or Kings. Other prisoners were not so lucky.
Armour: base coat of Black (av950), Dry Brush Gunmetal Grey (av863)
Gold Armour Bits: Old Gold (av878).
Tabard + Shield + Saddle: base coat of Red (av947), Wash Burnt Cad. Red (av814).
Crosses and Saddle trim: White (av951)
Belt, Sword Hilt, etc.: Old Gold (av878)
Scabbard: Burnt Cad. Red (av814)
This product is not suitable for children under the age of 14.
Moving on from 25mm Napoleonic figures, this model is a complete change. Easy to cast, assemble and paint and the outcome is rewarding. I used modelling putty to cover the joins on the horse. The model is greedy with metal. An ingot of model metal weights about 128gm. The weight of horse and mount is 268gm. A bit different from a 25mm model! Hours of fun ahead as this model is adapted and enjoyed.
