This is a vulcanised black rubber mould that allows you to cast two different pawns from the Robin Hood chess set.
Due to demands from our keenest chess casters we have introduced a set of moulds containing only the pawns - speeding up the casting of complete chess sets. Each of the moulds has two pawns from the opposing chess sets except the Staunton which has only one pawn and the Old Fantacy which has the two (not matching) chess sides.
This is my first attempt at metal casting. I found it pretty easy after watching a couple of videos on the web site. I especially like the fact that nothing is wasted. If you get a poor casting you just melt it and try again. I am now on the point of trying to paint them which will be "testing" . I am seriuosly thinkimng about getting the Waterloo moulds.
