Description

Cast and Paint your own Christmas Decorations and personalise your Christmas Tree. Each vulcanised black mould allows you to cast 2 different decorations. These are flat casts and easy to paint, if desired. You can leave them unpainted and just polish them or paint them partially, according to personal taste and creativity. Hang them on your tree with some ribbon.

Download the Painting Instructions as PDF (770 KB).

Dimensions of Santa Claus when cast is 66mm in height and 40mm in width (approximately) and the Stocking's measurements are 70mm in height and 50mm in width (approximately) including the circle for the string or ribbon.

Santa Claus is also known as Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas and Kris Kringle. He is often depicted as a large man, with a white beard, wearing a red coat with white collar and cuffs, white-cuffed red trousers, and black leather belt and boots, with presents for children. He is believed to be from the North Pole where he has a workshop for making his toys and plenty of little elves that help him prepare for Christmas Day. There is also the belief in Santa travelling by magical sled being drawn by 9 flying reindeers (Rudolph, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen.) to all the houses of children around the world in one day (December 25th).

The Christmas Stocking is either a real sock or a sock shaped bag that is hung up, often near the Christmas tree, for Santa Claus to put presents into, usually smaller items like sweets, fruit or small toys. In some cultures it is believed that if a child was naughty then Santa would leave a lump of coal in the stocking instead of candy.

We have included in the photos of these cast figures an image of the mould with red lines that indicate how to vent the mould. This only really is needed if you wish to cast in pewter or standard metal. Model Metal should cast ok without any venting.

This product is not suitable for children under the age of 14.
