This board is very sturdy yet light. It can be cut to smaller sizes if needbe. A diorama is defined as: a model representing a scene with three-dimensional figures, either in miniature or as a large-scale museum exhibit (dictionary.com)
The amount of skill put into a diorama can range from a simple and fun scene made over half an hour or weeks of carefully designed historically accurate craftmanship as well as all possibilities inbetween. Applying a grass matt is usually the first step and we have some available in our shop. I include a photo of a simple diorama that was assembled in minutes, once the figures were cast and painted as an example of how this board can look once some figures are placed on it. The figures are our 28mm scale Roman Wars range of Roman Legionaries and Ancient Britons.
