A beautiful yet affordable rosewood chess board with brown and cream squares. Each square is 36mm by 36mm. Varnished to protect from stains. Suitable for everyday use and matches best with our hand painted finished chess pieces. It weighs a little under 2kg so it is easy to carry but sturdy enough to resist damage. If using metal chess pieces it is recommended to apply the felt bases to the bottom of the pieces to protect the board from scratches during play.
