PA6003: 28mm Scale Roman Legionaries Advancing Moulds

This mould can cast 2 different 1st Century Roman Legionaries. These figures are 28mm scale. You can cast from this mould hundreds of times. Alternatively you can choose the product option for eight cast figures.

Officers are separately available as cast figures.

The Roman Empire was one of the most famous Empires of the ancient world. In the 1st Century CE the armies wore segmented armour and carried rectangular shields. These legionaries were hardened fighters, extremely fit and disciplined in the art of war. They used short swords for stabbing and used short javelins called pilum to injure enemies before attacking or to break up an enemy charge. At this time they were probably the most advanced and successful armies on the planet.

If you have not cast from Prince August moulds previously please include one of our starter kits and some metal. You should be able to cast between 6 to 7 soldiers from a single bar of metal. Model Metal is a white metal alloy of lead, tin and bismuth and gives excellent detail and extends the life of the mould dramatically.
