PA968: Saxon Peasant 40mm Scale Mould

In medieval times, being a peasant was close to being the bottom of the rung on the social ladder. However the threat of Vikings meant that things just got a whole lot worse. Since raiders often chose coastal targets like small villages or farms, peasants were the first line of defense and they rarely had anything more than agricultural equipment to defend themselves with. Added to that was their lack of military training and lack of leadership, resulting in easy victories for the Vikings. However Vikings often enslaved their targets rather than just kill them and since peasants were easy targets, they were often taken from their life of drudgery in one place and deposited in another as a slave.

This mould allows you to cast a courageous Saxon peasant as he faces a horde of armoured, well trained and disciplined, very angry men. The figure is 40mm in scale and fully round.

You can cast on average 4 figures from a bar of metal.
