500 years before Columbus arrived on the shores of America, the Vikings had landed and tried to settle in a place they called Vineland. They had encountered Native Americans and certain amounts of unfortunate hostility followed. Vikings called all Native Americans 'Skraelings'. It's meaning is unclear today as it was also used when referencing the Inuits in Greenland. Use of spears were common by both parties as gunpowder was not known at this time so ranged combat was mostly simple hand thrown projectiles.

You can cast many hundred Skraelings from a single rubber mould. These are 40mm scale metal figures that are fully round, not semi-flat like many of our other 40mm scale moulds. They are all sculpted by Chris Tubb.

You may need to acquire our basic starter kit so you have some of the accessories needed to use this mould. A single ingot can cast approximately 4 figures. Some assembly may be required so we recommend using our strong glue.

Viking Painting Guide:

B = Base, W = Wash, HD = Hi-Dry, BD = Base Dry.

All figures are first undercoated in white paint and all the other colours are painted over this.
