Pikemen were popular during the 18th Century as excellent anti-cavalry units that were gradually replaced when bayonets on muskets became more practical and popular. Officers were in charge of disseminating orders from their superiors and keeping troops from desertion during the chaos of battle.
The French Regiments and the Karoliners are the same vulcanised black rubber moulds. F903 and S903 are the same mould supplied with a label with a picture appropriate to that regiments colour scheme. The Irish Wild Geese mould PAI903 is different however as there is no pikeman in that range.
You can cast up to 500 castings per hole using Prince August Model Metal. Keep the moulds out of direct sunlight when storing them. Never use water to cool metal in a mould.
