This Karoliner vulcanised black rubber mould can cast a Musketeer loading with a ramrod and a Musketeer loading powder.
These karoliners are produced with advice from the Swedish tin soldier club Drabanten. They form part of a battle formation available in images.
You can cast up to 500 castings per hole using Prince August Model Metal. Keep the moulds out of direct sunlight when storing them. Never use water to cool metal in a mould.
This product is not suitable for children under the age of 14.

again Prince August has produced new Karoliners and oh boy they look good! the poses look realisticly and they fit ofcourse perfectly within the 900-range (also nice to see them standing next in line with the fellows made out of s902, pa51 en pa25 moulds!). However, there is a problem casting them; the musket of the figure reloading moves horizontaly in the mould, even moves up a little bit. Therefore the melted tin has great dificulty filling all the musket towards the end. The also new mould s916 has the same issue. Like in other PA-moulds, the muskets/long parts in the mould should "point south", to ease the casting proces. I had to cut a small tunnel from the top of the mould, an extra hole to pour the tin in, to get my musket. Hopefuly Prince August can make a minor change in the production-proces to move the position of the figures in the mould, in the future. One other small thing is the lack of the bayonet. Personaly I prefer muskets with bayonets; you can always cut them off if you wish, or for variation. Nevertheless, fine looking new Karoliners for your 900-range. Only the position of the musket prevents a 5-star, but great figures indeed! cheers from Holland, Response: Venting is a normal part of casting from moulds. Cutting a hair line from the tip of the musket to the outside of the mould would resolve any issues. Regards, Webmaster.
