This vulcanised black rubber mould can cast a fully round 3pdr Canon in 40mm scale. Can also be used as a 6pdr canon in 25mm scale.
The Karoliner moulds, the French Regiments 1750 and the Irish Wild Geese are the same moulds. S951, F951 & I951 are the same mould supplied with a label with a picture appropriate to that regiments colour scheme.
You can cast up to 500 castings per hole using Prince August Model Metal. Keep the moulds out of direct sunlight when storing them. Never use water to cool metal in a mould.
This product is not suitable for children under the age of 14.
Beautiful cannon but the wheels are extremely difficult to get out of the mold. The spokes mostly do not fill up the mold. It took about 15 runs to get one compleet wheel. Response from Prince August: With wheels, air pockets can be a problem. Tapping the mould, heating the metal a little more and making sure the vents are clear each time, can make a huge difference.
