Great product, they have nearly though of every thing. i would recommend getting the files and a snips with it though!
Good mould, good price / quality ratio! good price / quality ratio!
Since this is a beginners kit you could have included a basic instruction booklet on casting and painting, and necessary prep work, cleaning the mold, how to apply the antistick, cleaning the part and priming. Glenn Response from webmaster: Hi Glenn, We do include a basic casting guide with the kit, but we also supply extensive free guides and tutorials guides on our website that covers a wide range of issues related to this hobby.
Got whit the roman w/pilum and 1 extra bar... I'm going to try the next weekend, but everything looks great!
Got the Viking option and the 2 extra bars and found that I made the right choice. The kit has clamps which offered much more security both in a physical and a psychological sense (no worries about elastic bands snapping). The brush was good enough and although the paints are basic they do the job required and I had my own acrylics to add anyway. Just make sure you get extra metal as you will run out pretty quick otherwise.
