Description

Grenadiers were elite soldiers, often taller and stronger than regular troops, that used early crude grenades alongside their muskets.

This is a rubber mould that can be reused hundreds of times. The figures can be painted in the uniforms of 1700-1760 for England, France, Sweden, Prussia and Russia.

The master figures were initially carved out of wood and still retain some features of a wood carving. Many of these were re-made when we moved over to rubber moulds which could produce more rounded figures (Karoliners).

These early flats are quite hard to cast and require more of the detail to be 'painted in' than our more modern series.

This product is not suitable for children under the age of 14.

    Give them a try

However this is a miniature of the early days, they have a great appeal and are well compatible with all the newer semi flats. And it's true they are sometimes a littler harder to cast, but not that difficult!

    5 stars for craftmanship

These older miniatures may not have the crisp details of newer ones, but I still think they are so great. In an artistic way this and many other HE miniatures, will always be my favourite semi flats
