Starter Casting Equipment Kit 2000

This starter kit contains all of the hobby casting accessories you will require (except file and ingate cutter/snipper), just add your chosen moulds and casting alloy, to start white-metal casting as a hobby. Note you will also need a heat source like a domestic cooker to melt the metal.

Contents:

• Casting ladle. This will hold the liquid metal and let you pour it.
  
• Small pot of release powder. This is a talcum powder that is applied on the surface of the mould to allow air to escape and prevent metal sticking to the mould.
  
• 3 sets of different sized support boards (suitable for any mould). Boards sandwich the rubber moulds to help spread the pressure from the clamps.
  
• 2 mould clamps. These go on either side of the assembled mould and boards to hold them together.
